The Ukraine plans to reduce number of permissions for putting of wells into operation

​The Ukraine plans to reduce the list and periods of validity of various permissions necessary for putting of oil and gas wells into operation, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, V. Demchishin, said.

Another step (for extraction growth) is the simplification of the procedure of issue of permissions. Over 80 permissions are necessary to put a well into operation. We have considered the list and in the near future we will reduce it, we will rewrite the periods of validity, he said.

The Supreme Rada is to consider the draft law on the reduction of rental payments collected for gas extraction by private companies.

The draft law “On the introduction of changes into the Tax Code of the Ukraine” is registered at the Parliament on July 14th 2015.
