Azerbaijan to sign agreements with European gas purchasers

The signing of agreements with European gas purchasers within the second stage of the Shah-Deniz gas condensate field development in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea has been scheduled for September 19th, SOCAR’s President Rovnag Abdullaev stated.
In June, the Shahk-Deniz consortium made an official declaration on choice of the route for Azerbaijan gas transportation to Europe. As the regional President of BP in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, Gordon Birrell stated, the gas supply will be carried out via TAP.
