Kashagan will start commercial oil production of 75,000 barrels a day by the beginning of October 2013, the Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, U. Karabalin says. Maximum daily production can reach 1.5 million barrels. Each partner of the Kashagan consortium transports its oil itself. Those obtaining quotas in CPC transport their oil via CPC, and the traditional export system Atyrau-Samara has some spare volumes. The Chinese direction is opened, and CNPC being one of the partners can use it.
