Kazakh Government approves draft of concept of raw material resources efficient management

The Government of Kazakhstan approved a draft concept for the effective management of natural resources and the use of revenues from the oil sector at its meeting on Tuesday.

The corresponding order to the Cabinet of Ministers was voiced by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev a week ago, at a session of the Eurasian Forum of emerging markets. 

"This concept and the appropriate laws and regulations, as well as the adoption of a strategy for development of the country’s fuel and energy complex will enable to increase the pace of our hydrocarbon resources production and supply to world markets and to provide the internal market with the domestic fuel and lubricants that correspond to environmental standards," - the Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov said after the unanimous approval of the document by members of the Government.
