MMC "Norilsk Nickel" spoke about the modernization of the Zapolyarniy Division at the VI International Congress of Metallurgists, being held in Krasnoyarsk on September 15th-18th.
Lets recall that the world's largest nickel and palladium producer and one of the largest producers of platinum and copper presented a new strategy in the autumn of 2013 for the first time.
This strategy is aimed at the return on capital, modernization, the problems of labour safety and the environment, the maintenance of high social standards. Lets also recall that the main principles of the strategy is that the company's activities focus on the first-class Russian assets, where the Taimyr region occupies the leading position.
