“Transneft-Ural” has put into operation a system of oil compounding

​“Transneft-Ural” has put into operation a system of oil compounding at the Nurlino line operation dispatcher station, Transneft reports.

The new compounding system will allow to compound (mix) high-sulphur oil shipped to the Nurlino line operation dispatcher station by the Yazykovo-Nurlino technological site of the Tuimazy-Ufa-3 route oil pipeline, with the flow of sulphur oil shipped by the Ust-Balyk-Kurgan-Ufa-Almetievsk, Nizhnevartovsk-Kurgan-Kuibyshev, Tuimazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-1 route oil pipelines. It will allow to provide the set level of sulphur content in the flow in conformity with the approved by the Ministry of Energy of Russia scheme of normal (technological) oil flows.

The system will function in fully automated mode.

The construction of the compounding system was held in the framework of the program of development, technical retooling and reconstruction of Transneft-Ural.
