GAZPROM to keep control over gas export until 2035

Energy Strategy project of Russia until 2035 does not contain plans on any significant changes into the existing structure of gas industry. Gazprom will keep control over export, while independent producers might get access to the export outlets on a competitive basis, according to RIA Novosti.

“Due to high sensitivity of the Russian economy to the situation with an export of gas it is necessary to avoid counterproductive competition in the world market between the Russian companies,” is stated in the document.
