In the first 9 months of 2015, production of polyvinyl chloride in Russia grew by 24%

In the first nine months of the year, the total production of unblended polyvinyl chloride in Russia increased by 24% as compared with the same period of 2014 and amounted to 642.1 thousand tons. The main increase in the production figures was provided by RusVinyl, Market Report informs.

In October, the final rate of the production of unmixed polyvinyl chloride in Russia grew to 63.3 thousand tons against 55.3 thousand tons in the previous month (in September, repairs were conducted at facilities of Sayanskkhimplast and RusVinyl). In January - October 2015, the total production of polyvinyl chloride in Russia reached 642.1 thousand tons against 519.2 thousand tons in the previous year. The volume of the polyvinyl chloride production was increased by all enterprises, the only exception was the leader of the previous years - Sayanskkhimplast that was forced to decrease the production by 23%.
