Georgia plans to invest over $80 million into oil and gas industry

The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia Kakha Kaladze has stated that this year the state intended to additionally invest $84 million into development (in particular, into exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons) of the national oil and gas industry.

The Minister said that large foreign companies, including Gindal petroleum LTD (India), were interested in geological exploration in Georgia.
