“Silk Road” of China has issued 700 mln euro for “Yaml LNG”

The “Silk Road” Fund of China has issued 700 mln euro to finance “Yamal LNG”, Novatek’s head, L. Mikhelson, said.
In the near future Novatek expects the attraction of the rest part of financing.
Yamal LNG is a plant on the basis of ht South-Tambey deposit in Yamal. 3 stages of 5.5 mln tons of LNG a year each are planned. The launch is planned for 2017, reaching the project capacity – for 2021.
