Ore transshipment at sea ports of the Ukraine grew by 21.9% over 11 months

​On the results of Jan-November 2015 ore transshipment at the sea ports of the Ukraine grew by 21.9% against Jan-November 2014 to 38.77 mln tons.

In Jan-November 2015 the export of ore rose by 14.5% to 26.11 mln tons, import-by 13.9% to 5.47 mln tons. Coasting made up 5.35 mln tons (in Jan-November 2014 – 1.64 mln tons, the growth by 3.2 times). Ore transit fell by 27.9% to 1.84 mln tons.

In Jan-November 2015 the “Southern” sea port transshipped 23.63 mln tons of ore, which is 60.9% of the total volume. The growth against Jan-November 2014 made up 6.7%.

The Mariupol port increased ore transshipment from 782.5 thousand tons in Jan-November 2014 to 2.44 mln tons in Jan-November 2015, the Berdyansk port- from 708.1 thousand tons to 1.67 mln tons, the Ilichevsk port- by 2.1 times to 4.11 mln tons, Izmail port- by 2.8 times to 2.39 mln tons, the Nikolayev port- by 12.5% to 4.07 mln tons. The reduction of ore transshipment at the Odessa port amounted to 73.1% to 448.9 thousand tons, Reni port- 88.4% to 3.9 thousand tons.
