Turkey intends to replace Russian gas with Israeli

Turkey has activated negotiations to restore relations with Israel to orginize supply of gas from the country and reduce dependence on Russia, the RBC reports.

Normalization of the relations with Israel will allow Turkey to import gas from that country to reduce its dependence on Russian supplies, writes the Bloomberg, referring to sources in the Turkish Government. According to them, after the incident with the Russian bomber that was shot down by Turkish fighters in November, confidential contacts between Ankara and Jerusalem became more intense.
