In 2015, uranium production in the Kurgan region grew by 2%

In 2015, the Uranium production in the Kurgan region, according to preliminary results, increased by 2% to 590.1 tons, reports the press centre of the uranium mining company Dalur (holding company is Atomredmetzoloto).

"The production plan of Dalur in 2015 was 100.02% fulfilled. The plan for 2016 will amount to 591 tons of uranium. This requires the opening of new reserves, so the construction of 321 wells at the Khokhlovskoye and Dalmatovskoye deposits is planned. In 2015, 205 wells were built,"- the press centre informs.
