Rosneft increased oil extraction at Verkhnechonsk deposit by 4.9% in 2015

In 2015 Rosneft increased oil extraction at the Verkhnechonsk oil and gas condensate deposit by 4.9% against 2014 to 8.6 mln tons.

The extraction growth is provided particularly by the regime of operation of objects onshore infrastructure of Verkhnechonskneftegas, realization of geological-technical measures and program of optimization of drilling cycle, construction of new wells and monitoring of parameters of working of the productive layer.

In 2015 over 50 new wells with the total extraction of almost 550 thousand tons of oil were put into operation at the deposits of Verkhnechonskneftegas.

As a result of the successfully realization of the layer hydrofracturing program at the basic fund of wells, their productivity rose. The additional extraction made up about 114 thousand tons of oil, level of daily extraction reached 23.6 thousand tons.

Verkhnechonskneftegas PJSC, an affiliate of Rosneft, holds the development of the Verkhnechonsk oil and gas condensate deposit in the Katanga district of the Irkutsk region. Verkhnechonskneftegas is the operator of 7 license sites of Rosneft in the Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk regions.
