Tatneft to spend 35 bln roubles on ecology over next 5 years

​Tatneft has worked out the nature preserving program for 2016-2020.

In the framework of this program Tatneft plans to realize 135 measures for 35 bln roubles, the first deputy CEO for production, chief engineer of Tatneft, N. Ibragimov, said.

He said that the goals of the 4th ecological program of Tatneft are the reduction of technogenic influence on the environment and rational use of natural resources.

One of the goals of the program is the increase of ecological safety of production objects. Tatneft aims at the implementation of the best available technologies, growth of quality of management over the technological processes. The implementation of the personal ecological responsibility, ecological training of personnel and population are planned.

Tatneft’s new ecological program is the logical continuation of the company’s nature preserving activity, N. Ibragimov said.
