Special channel is excavated for gas – internal competitors pester Gazprom

The independent gas producers, inspired by success with the liberalization of Russian LNG export, are searching for ways to enter the foreign market of pipeline gas. New circuitous concepts are developed for this against the background of active opposition to Gazprom. In particular, Lukoil offers to oblige the monopoly to export gas of other producers. As the Kommersant has got to know, one of variants provides for creation of a special gas exporter, which will give quotas for pumping on the assumption of the producers’ share in total production. In this case, Gazprom will have to make room in the export by about a quarter.
