Turkey not to sell Iraq oil without the consent of Bagdad

The position of Bagdad in the oil deal with Kurdistan is being determined. Turkey will not sell Iraq oil without the consent of the central government, the Minister of Energy and Environment of Turkey T.Yuldyz asserted, Turkish newspaper “Hurriyet Daily News” writes.

According to him, the information about the deal on $90 million is not true.

“If there are any deals concluded Bagdad will be informed about it first of all and the funds will be transferred to Iraq. It’s not Turkish oil, it belongs to Iraq,” Yuldyz said.
