BP believes that the project to build a gas pipeline Nord Stream to the UK is quite possible in the long-term.

As recalled by Tass, the Nord Stream project passes through the Baltic Sea from the Portovaya Bay, located in the town of Vyborg, to the German coast. The pipeline consists of two lines with the length of 1224 km and a total design capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

According to the source agency in the London headquarters of the energy company, the idea to reach Nord Stream to the UK occurred a few years ago. "There are no recent discussions about it either in Russia, or in the UK. In the long run, as it seems, it must be a viable option, "- he said.
