Accounts Chamber has made a claim against Transneft
Transneft’s plans on the construction of oil products pipelines don’t meet the schemes of development of the oil sector of Russia. It is due to the weak cooperation of the company and the Ministry of Energy, the Accounts Chamber said.
The parameters of the investment programs of Transneft don’t met the rates of the general scheme of development of the oil sector of Russia. “The planned by the company’s investment program for 2012-2020 volumes of construction of the linear part of pipelines in general make up 77% of the planned by the General scheme of development of the oil sector, including by the program of development of route oil products pipelines – only 24%”, the auditor of the Accounts Chamber, V. Bogomolov, said.
It was due to the weak cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Transneft. The latter had to correct investment projects in the process of realization. “It was required to include the additional objects of infrastructure, exclude investment projects due to the loss of their importance or develop new technical decisions”, is reported.
