Sibur increases its income in the group of base polymers

Today Sibur Holding company, the integrated gas processing and petrochemical company, leader of the Russian petrochemical industry, announced its financial and operating results for 2014 in accordance with IAS.

In 2014, gas processing plants of SIBUR increased the volume of associated petroleum gas processing by 6.3% as compared with 2013 to 20.8 billion cubic meters. As a result, 18 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced, which is by 6.4% more than in 2013 and 5.2 million tons of natural gas liquids, which is by 6.6% more than in the previous year.

In 2014, Sibur increased sales volume of most of fuel and raw products. The natural gas sales volumes grew by 35.2% as compared with 2013 and made up 16 billion cubic meters. The sales of liquid hydrocarbons, including liquefied petroleum gases, naphtha and natural gas liquids, made up 6.5 million tons, increased by 34.7% as compared with 2013. The sales of petrochemical products 2014 increased by 5.6% as compared to the previous year and amounted to 2.2 million tons, including the sales of polypropylene grew 1.9 times to 393.7 thousand tons.
