Transneft increases the oil export capacities via Kozmino port by 500 thousand tons to 7.8 mln tons in Q2

​In Q2 2015 Transneft increases the oil export capacities via the Kozmino port by 500 thousand tons to 7.8 mln tons, the official representative of Transneft, I. Demin, said adding that on March 24th a 100-millionth ton of oil will be transshipped via the port.

In Q1 2015 Transneft granted the capacities for Kozmino at the volume of 7.3 mln tons.

The schedule for Q2 2015 via Kozmino presupposes the transshipment of 6.5 mln tons and 800 thousand tons by the additional agreement with China (Rosneft’s volumes) and 500 thousand tons (compensation volumes for oil products supply to Kazakhstan). Transneft and the Ministry of Energy don’t comment this information.

In Q1 2015 the main schedule via Kozmino presupposes the export of 6.3 mln tons of oil and 700 thousand tons by the additional agreement with China and 300 thousand tons of compensation volumes.

In Q1 2014 the export via Kozmino made up 5.9 mln tons, in Q2 – 8.5 mln tons.
