United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has planned to invest 12 billion rubles in the development of pipe production at the Vyksa metallurgical plant (VMZ) in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by VMZ on March 17, 2016.
The funds are planned to be used to establish a center for the finishing of casing pipes for the oil and gas industry and the production of oil well tubing.
