In Q1 2014 Kazakhstan increased its crude steel smelting compared to the same period last year by 19.3 % to 912.117 tons, the materials of the government statistics inform.
In March the Kazakh steelmakers cut the steel production over the same period last year by 3.5 % to 318.435 tons, but compared to February 2014 it increased by 15.1%.
