In 2016, inflation in Russia may be less 6% in case of maintenance of the current oil price, but this decline doesn’t mean ease of achieving the target of 4%, the Deputy Finance Minister Maxim Oreshkin told reporters.

In March, the annual inflation fell to 7.3%, while in 2015 the inflation in Russia amounted to 12.9%. As of April the 15th, the price of the futures on Brent crude with delivery in June 2016 was $42.78 per barrel on the ICE exchange in London.
