The Ukraine increased gas import via Slovakia by 58%

​The Ukraine increased gas import via Slovakia by the Voyany-Uzhgorod pipeline by 58.4% or 1.411 mln cubic m to 3.826 mln cubic m/day beginning from April 16th.

On April 1-17th, 46.016 mln cubic m of gas were shipped via Slovakia.

The operator of the GTS of Slovakia – Eustream – states an opportunity of the gas measuring station in Budentse to accept gas in the reverse mode from the Ukraine to Slovakia from April 1st.

Naftogas says that the 2-directional work mode of the gas pipeline between the Ukraine and Slovakia - Voyany-Uzhgorod – is provided by means of the virtual reverse and the actual switch of compressors.
