Ukrgasdobycha to put up 700 tons of gas for a special auction
Ukrgasdobycha will put up 704 tons of LPG for a special auction on the sale of gas for the needs of the population on April 26th. 504 tons of LPG produced at the Timofeevsky plant and 200 tons from the Yulievsky unit will be offered for sale. The start-up price of the gas is 7,683.71 grivnas/ton.
At the latest auction on March 24th Ukrgasdobycha sold 1,140 tons of LPG. According to the law, Ukrgasdobycha and Ukrnafta are to monthly offer up to 4 thousand tons of gas for both for the needs of the population.
The operators of LNG for the needs of the population from Jan 1st stopped the supply of gas in balloons to consumers due to the changes in the Tax Code which presuppose the payment of retail excise duty ($0.042/ton)/liter of sold products. There is no exception for LPG suppliers.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the formula of calculation of the start-up price for LPG for special auctions for the needs of the population. The start-up price of propane-butane mixture is determined by means of multiplication of the average gas price (used for cooking and water heating) by a coefficient taking into account the difference of propane-butane mixture burning heat and gas – 1.27.
