Vyksa metallurgical plant produced 193.2 thousand tons of large diameter pipes in Jan-April 2012

The Vyksa metallurgical plant (VMZ OAO, the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the structure of the United metallurgical company, OMK CJSC) reported on its production activity in April and Jan-April 2012.
The wheel-rolling complex of VMZ produced 71.8 thousand wheels in April 2012. The pipes production of various assortment within the reported period made up 101.4 thousand tons, including 45.6 thousand tons of large diameter pipes.
From the beginning of the year VMZ produced 281.3 thousand rail way wheels, 4% more against the same period 2011 (270.3 thousand of wheels). In Jan-April 2012 the company produced about 446 thousand tons of pipes of various assortment, 26.1% less against the same period 2011 (603.5 thousand tons). The production of large diameter pipes made up 193.2 thousand tons.
