In the first four months of 2015, revenue from export customs duties in the Mangistau region amounted to 46.793 billion tenges. In general, exports of "black gold" decreased by 19% in comparison with the same period last year.
According to head of the customs post Energy Erzhigit Abayuly, the reduction of the volume was caused by the situation on the world market - the decline in world oil price. Thus, since June 2014, exports of crude oil gradually began to decline, and since August, the Kazakh Ministry of Energy was focused on saturation of the domestic market on the priority basis.
