The USA and Russia to meet more often

After the visit of te US Secretary of State John Kerry in Sochi, President Obama sent two of his senior officials to Russia. Yesterday, Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland and Special Envoy on Syria David Rubinstein arrived in Moscow. Although each of the visits has its own agenda, they are united by one task - to continue the new dialogue, initiated by John Kerry with the Russian leadership. Experts, interviewed by the Kommersant, urge not to take the activity of the White House as a willingness to make concessions to Russia. Victoria Nuland, who has a reputation as a long-time critic of Moscow, was selected in the lead role to explain the US position not by chance.

Victoria Nuland and David Rubinstein arrived in Moscow with intervals of several hours, and with different routes. TheAssistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs first arrived in the Russian capital. In the evening, the press attache of the US Embassy Will Stevens posted on his Twitter account a photo, in which Victoria Nuland and Ambassador John Tefft, wreathed in smiles, eat meat dumplings (caption says that it was decided to refresh themselves with the Mr. Tefft's favorite dish – meat dumplings with sour cream - before the talks scheduled for Monday).
