Gazprom Neft intends to increase gas extraction by 5.4% in 2016

​In 2016 Gazprom Neft plans to increase hydrocarbons extraction by at least 5%, gas extraction- by 5.4%.

The key goal for 2016 is the growth of hydrocarbons extraction by at least 5%. In 2015 hydrocarbons extraction of Gazprom Neft grew by 20.3% to 79.7 mln tons of oil equivalent. Oil extraction in 2015 rose by 6.9% to 55.67 mln tons.

Gas program of Gazprom Neft group presupposes the accelerated growth of gas extraction in Russia. The growth of volume of gas extraction/consumption is planned from 29.92 bln cubic m in 2015 to 31.55 bln cubic m in 2016. The key goal of 2016 is also the engagement into the development of scavenger reserves at the volume of 32 mln tons.

Gazprom Neft was reported to plan to increase oil extraction by 2025 by 33% against 2015 to 78.6 mln tons a year.

Gazprom Neft plans to increase the total oil extraction in Russia and overseas by 2025 to 100 mln tons of oil equivalent a year.
