Lukoil has chances in the privatization of Bashneft

Vladimir Putin has excluded Bashneft from the list of strategic enterprises. Now the company can be privatized completely. The state stake in the company is 50% plus one share. Who will be the buyer is still unknown. Earlier, the Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev suggested not to put certain stakes on the stock exchange, but to sell the stake entirely to one investor. The process of transferring Bashneft in private hands is planned to be completed by the end of 2016. - What do you think, who is ready to buy Bashneft?

- I believe that such investor may be Lukoil. And I will explain my position with the fact that Lukoil with Bashneft worked on the Trebs and Titov oil fields, and there was a lot of logistics and interesting from the standpoint of processing intersections, that is, the operating connection between Lukoil and Bashneft was formed to some extent, and it can be integrated quickly enough in the end, after the acquisition of this company by Lukoil. This is the first aspect.
