In Q1 Russia increased steel imports from China by 29.2%

​In Q1 2016 the supply of steel products from China to Russia made up 109.8 thousand tons, by 29.2% higher than in 2015, but on average by 23% lower than in Q1 2013 and Q1 2014.

The basis (68.7%) of import is flat rolled products, in which 85% is coated steel. In annual terms the supply of the latter grew by 63.6%.

About 20% is the stake of steel pipes, the growth of supplies – 12.2%.

3.75% is the stake of sort-rolled products (+25.7%).

For the past 2 years the stake of this country in the Russian import of steel products made up on average 13.7%.
