In 2014 Gazprom International plans to produce more than 300 million cubic meters of gas at the Uzbek Shakhpakhty field.

The natural gas production at Shakhpakhty in northwestern Uzbekistan amounted to 110.2 million cubic meters YTD, which is 8.7 million more than the projected level. Over 2014, the professionals of Gazprom International, implementing the project on reconstruction and redevelopment of the field there, plan to produce and submit to the transportation more than 300 million cubic meters of gas. At the same time, in accordance with the program of geological and technical activities, in the current year the operating company envisages for repair work on the five wells, four of which are planned to be removed from the reserve stock.

Since early this year two wells were commissioned, the repair of the third is being finished. As of May 1st, the current fund deposit is 21 wells with an average daily production of 902 thousand cubic meters.

The total volume of gas produced at the field since 2004 is more than 2.6 billion cubic meters today.

The reconstruction and additional development of the Shakhpakhty field - is a pilot project of Gazprom International in Uzbekistan, which is implemented on the terms of production sharing agreement, signed in 2004 for 15 years.
