Bashkiria expects to receive a stake in Bashneft by the end of June-July –Khamitov

Bashkiria expects to receive a 25% plus 1 share stake in Bashneft by the end of June-July 2015, the head of Bashkiria, R. Khamitov said at the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum

He said that Bashkiria intends to receive dividends from participation in Bashneft for 2014 in proportion to its stake.

Bashneft’s head, A. Korsik, said that Bashkiria might receive 25% in the capital of Bashneft. The republic is expected to have 2 representatives in the company’s Board of Directors. In case of election they will have the right for voting and promote the state's interests, including Bashkiria’s, Mr. Korsik added. He said that Bashkiria might enter the structure of shareholders until the closing of the registry and intend for payment of dividends.
