Community of Ust-Kut district has approved construction of a waste site at Yarakty deposit of INK

​Public hearings on the materials of assessment of influence on the environment at the construction of a waste site or industrial and solid domestic waste at the Yarakty oil and gas condensate deposit of the Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) were held on June 16th at the Administration of the Ust-Kut district.

The new waste site with the area of 25 ha, which is planned to be constructed in the near future, will be used for acceptation, deactivation, placing of industrial, solid domestic waste, oil sludge and drilling waste. The equipment for cleaning of industrial effluent water will be installed at the waste site.

The specialists of “DIEM” CJSC, as developers of the project, told the population of modern materials and technologies used at the construction of the site.
