In the first six months of 2013, production of rolled metal at ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog increased by 7.7% y/y

In January-June of 2013, ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog smelted 3.12 million tons of steel that is by 0.2% more than in the first six months of 2012. In this period, the cast iron production decreased by 0.7% to 2.71 million tons, and the production of rolled metal grew by 7.7% to 2.847 million tons, the enterprise reports on its official site on Thursday, July 18th.

In June of 2013, about 463 thousand tons of cast iron (almost by 39% thousand tons less than in the previous year), 535 thousand tons of steel (-32 thousand tons) and 440 thousand tons of rolled metal (-51 thousand tons) were produced at the metallurgic plant.
