In January – July, Russia increased steel pipes production by 4.2%

In January – July, Russia increased steel production by 1.8% to 41.1 million tons, the Federal state statistic service reports. It also increased production of steel pipes by 4.2% to 6.2 million tons and ready steel by 2.8% to 35.5 million tons.
In July, Russia increased production of steel by 6.6%, ready steel by 7.9% and steel pipes by 10.3% versus July 2013. It also increased production of steel by 1.5%, rolled steel by 1.3% and steel pipes by 10.4% versus June 2014.
