"Transneft" is against the new FAS rules of the oil refineries connection.

The RF Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has announced the finalization of the government decree draft to change the rules of the connecting of oil refineries to the pipelines. The advisory board of OJSC "AK "Transneft" stated that the planned change of the process of oil refineries connection to the main gas pipelines could destabilize the oil and petroleum products market.

lets recall that the document has been developed in order to promote the development of the independent oil refining structures in the Russian Federation. In particular, FAS proposes to exclude two points, according to which the documents confirming the intention of the producers and the suppliers of oil to supply the planned amount of oil to the plant for 3 years after its entry into operation with an indication of the monthly volumes of crude oil are required to be provided to the Ministry of Energy and "Transneft" for the plants inclusion into the roster and their connection to the pipelines.
