Bashneft reduces its profit under RAS almost two times

Analysts believe that the financial performances have deteriorated because of falling oil prices and reduced volumes of oil processing in connection with the tax manoeuvre.

In the first six months of the year, the net profit of Bashneft made up 18 billion rubles against 32.8 billion rubles in January-June 2014, the company’s published accounting under RAS show. The revenues amounted to 254.9 billion rubles (-12%), including from the sale of petroleum products - 177.8 billion rubles (-15%) and from the sale of crude oil - 68.1 billion (-6%).
