Rosneft starts drilling two new fields in Siberia
RN-Uvatneftegaz, a subsidiary of"Rosneft, has started the drilling of the first production wells at the South-Gavrikovskoye field and the field n.a. Malyk in Western Siberia; by the end of 2015, it is planned to start the drilling at the West-Epasskoye field, the company reports.
"The prerequisites for the start of the production drilling were the successful results of the previous geological exploration. The increase in the ABC1 + C2 reserves due to geological exploration reserves made up approximately 20 million tons in 201," - the press release informs.
The general plan of penetration during the exploratory drilling as of August the 1st, 2015 made up more than 21.6 thousand meters. 7 wells at fields of the Uvat project were transferred for test.
