Steel output rose by 7.1% in Russia in July

​In Jan-July 2015 the metallurgical plants of Russia produced 40.9 mln tons of primary steel.

Compared to June 2015 steel making in Russia rose by 7.1%, production of ferrous metals rolled products rose by 5.9%.

In July steel making in Russia fell by 2.8% against July 2014, output of finished rolled products fell by 2.9%. Cast iron making rose by 14.9% against July 2014 and by 18.1% against June 2015.

In Jan-July 2015 steel making in Russia fell by 0.7% to 40.9 mln tons against Jan-July 2014; output of finished rolled products fell by 0.8% to 35.2, cast iron production rose by 5.3% to 31 mln tons.

The production of steel pipes in Russia made up 6.6 mln tons in Jan-July 2015, that is by 8.3% more than in Jan-July 2014. In July pipe production in Russia rose by 0.7% against July 2014 and by 1.3% against June 2015.
