ArcelorMittal Temirtau pays over 2 billion tenges for damage, caused to ecology

The company ArcelorMittal Temirtau has paid a penalty in the amount of over 2 billion tenges for violation of environmental legislation, the press centre of the public prosecutor’s office in the Karaganda region reported.

The violations were detected by the specialized environmental prosecutor's office of the Karaganda region during an inspection of seven mines of the Karaganda coal basin of ArcelorMittal Temirtau.
