The French company Total still considers the Shtokman project as possible, but this project is really difficult in every sense, the Head of Total Upstream Yves-Louis Darricarrere reported in interview to Kommersant.
According to him, that’s why in March “Total and Gazprom decided to review all the possible technical variants to develop the field and choose the best one”. “When the optimal technical decision is determined, we will together work on its details to implement it in practice,” – Darricarrere noted.
