Lukoil extracted 30 bln cubic m of gas in Uzbekistan

​The accumulated gas extraction at the projects headed by Lukoil PJSC in Uzbekistan made up 30 bln cubic m, the major part of the volume (85%) was extracted at the Khauzak-Shady site in the Bukhara region.

Industrial gas extraction at the Khauzak-Shady site started in November 2007. In 2011 the Western Shady site was launched, in 2014 the buster compressor station was put into operation at the field. It gave a 20% growth of gas extraction. In May 2015 in the framework of the “Early gas of Kandym” project, the units of preliminary gas preparation were put into trial operation at the Kuvachi-Alat deposit of the Kandym group of deposits and the Nortern Shady site of the Denzikulsky deposit. Today the accumulated gas extraction at the Khauzak-Shady site makes up over 25 bln cubic m.

Gas extraction by the South-Western Gissar project started in December 2011. In the spring 2013 the “Full development of Gissar” project entered the stage of realization. The volume of accumulated gas extraction at the Gissar field today makes up about 5 bln cubic m.
