Tengizshevroil to increase production by 12 mln tons

The Government of Kazakhstan and “Tengizshevroil” signed a memorandum of understanding, within the frame of which there defined mutual obligations of the parties on an increase of production at the deposit Tengiz, is said in a joint statement of “Tengizshevroil” and the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, RBK reports.
The production capacities at the deposit are planned to be in increased by about 12 million tons a year.
The production at the deposit makes up about 25 million tons a year. Earlier, they talked about an increase of production up to 36 million tons a year.
