Altai gas pipeline will be laid directly from Western Siberia to China

The Altai gas pipeline will be laid directly from Western Siberia to China omitting the territories of the third party states having suggested to lay the route via their territories, CNPC’s External Relations Department Director, Zhang Xin says.
On November 9th, Gazprom and CNPC signed the framework agreement about gas supplies from Russia to China via the western route. It stipulates location of the point of gas transferring on the board.
