“Gazprom burenie” of I. Rotenberg has an opportunity to enter the market of Saudi Arabia, the company’s deputy CEO for strategic development, D. Valeev, said.
He said that “Gazprom burenie” is the first domestic drilling company which has passed a preliminary qualification in Saudi Aramco and that allow the company to participate in the tenders for the construction of wells on the territory of Saudi Arabia and a number of other countries of the Persian Gulf.
In 2010 we hosted the representatives of Saudi Aramco in Astrakhan and Urengoi. After that they audited our assets. The qualification procedure was very complicated but we have managed to pass it, he said.
