​D. Manturov has headed the Supervision Council of the Union of Oil and Gas Equipment Producers. The decision was made at the general meeting of the organization in Moscow under the direction of a member of the Federation Council, I. Pachenko.

The election of the Minister is connected with the increased importance of the import replacement problem in the oil and gas sector. The structure of the Supervision Council comprises the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Rostekhnadzor, Rosstandard, FAS, Federal Agency for subsoil use, heads of the material-technical provision departments of the largest oil and gas companies. Y. Laponin was elected the President of the Union of Oil and Gas Equipment Producers, who previously worked at the administration of the President of Russia.
