On December 17, Bashneft agreed with VTB about bank guarantees at a rate of 55 billion rubles. The volume of the transaction is 14.87% of the cost of Bashneft’s assets that is 369.857 billion rubles now.
Bashneft is the main enterprise of the Bashkir fuel and energy sector. It produces oil in Bashkiria, Western Siberia and the Orenburg region. It holds the licenses in the Nenets autonomous area. The company also holds refining assets and the petrol stations network.
