"Lukoil" to look to the extension for one year of geological exploration in the East Taimyr site.

"Lukoil" is going to ask to extend for one year the terms of geological exploration operations on the East Taimyr area, as because of litigation with "Rosneft" was missed a season, the president of the company Vagit Alekperov stated.

 "We have lost this season, failed it due to the fact that there were court proceedings, to mobilize seismic crews. For the year, we believe the government should extend our exploration period of the license, because it is not our reason "- he said.

 Alekperov added that the company does not plan to use the infrastructure to develop the deposit of "Yamal LNG", but does not exclude the possibility to use the port of Sabetta to deliver the equipment. "Lukoil" plans to carry out seismic n 2016, and in 2017 - to start drilling. Alekperov said that the volume of investments to the seismic survey to evaluate prematurely.
